    The Swastika has been used in many other cultures before Nazi Germany began using it, such as european pagan cultures and Asian countries as well.

    I also want to say that if anime gets more badass than this, I don’t want to see it. =)

    I love the Manga and Manji is still just as badass in the anime which means I will love this too.
    oh and the Swastika is ment to symbolize the original meaning. The writer mentions it at the start of every book.

    Dude, its not a swastika. That symbol is called a Manji (hence his name). The swastika used by Germany goes in the other direction. If you don’t believe me, you guys can go search it up. Not Nazi.

    not as bloody as the original works, but still pretty good. i only have the first volume of the Manga but ive read several of the later volumes and this is definattely going to be one of those animes thatll start slowly and build into something epic. P.S., its not a swastica its a manji cross, the nazi’s perverted its meaning by turning the points of the cross in the opposite direction.

    well everyone has pointed out the swastika thing but i actually think this show is a way of recruiting young kids and adults for the nazi party. after they are recruited they will put on the bike shorts of time travel and go back to 1943 germany and change the outcome of WWII and then will travel back where they will dance for the next 9 episodes the show will be a big nazi dance competition.

    OMG!!!!!!!! I’ve read the manga to this, it’s such an old one! I’m so damn happy they *finally* turned it into an anime! I’m looking down through all of these comments saying shit like “this has potential” or “NAZI NAZI NAZI!” Damn. Really, you guys?
    It’s the indian symbol of good luck. And also, people who think that this new anime just has potential don’t deserve to watch it. This is an EPIC story. EPIC, people. It kicks Inuyasha/BLEACH/Naruto/Chrno Crusade/Blood+/Chobits/Trinity Blood/Full Metal Alchemist/Ect. out of the damn water. Hopefully this anime and manga can educate your taste.     Ok, this first episode bored the crap out of me and they already killed off some dumb bitch who has an obsession with her so-called big brother. This anime looks more like a disgrace to the samurai-genre to me, I mean one guy had a fucking sword that looked like a double lightsabre in the samurai era, what the fuck?

    Overall, not a very good episode for someone to get hooked onto. I don’t know the manga so I cannot say how this anime will turn out, but I think the only people who are interested in this anime are kids who like Naruto, Bleach, and other trashy PG-13 anime bullcrap. Rurouni Kenshin > Blade of the Immortal for all I care.
