Anime Network Taken Off Comcast, Put on DirecTV

A.D. Vision’s Anime Network television service has announced on its web forum on Friday that it will no longer be available on the Comcast cable service provider in the United States. At the same time, The Anime Network announced it is available on the VOD service from the DirecTV satellite television provider. The network is also offering the first five episodes of the Kiba, Mezzo, and Azumanga Daioh anime series on the Ovi Phone Service for select Nokia phones.

Im mad about this. I was watching a few animes that arent on here off of anime network on comcast.

Hmmmmmnn ok. i didnt ever have the anime network when i had comcast but from the looks of it it didnt matter as none of the shows on there interested me…this is why i mostly read manga, just go to the bookstore read it and leave, you get to experience the story but dont have to pay for it.

From what I’ve heard the series which appeared on animenetwork were substandard. Eventhough I have Driect TV I don’t think that I will spend my time watching anything that airs. The majority of the shows I enjoy happen to be on A/M so I only watch, at the most, three shows a week.
That doesn’t mean I won’t check up on A/N periodicly. I do hope the shows aired will be above par. Until then I’m still at A/M.
