this was a really sweet show, I read the manga and the manga had a better ending were the mother actually came to claim her child again.

This is a good ending for the show.
I wish that they would have integrated all the chapters from the manga. If they did it would have made the show feel more complete.
Even so, it still pulls on your heart strings.
